The Shenyang SHSCNC CAK36/40 series Universal CNC Lathe is a compact, high-speed horizontal lathe designed for precision turning of small to medium workpieces. Available in two swing diameters (360mm or 400mm over bed), this series offers excellent rigidity and cutting performance. Built on a robust cast iron bed with a 360mm guideway width, it delivers good vibration damping and stability. The spindle is driven by a 5.5/7.5 kW (continuous/30 min) main servo motor, providing a speed range of 100-3000 rpm for high-efficiency roughing and finishing. The spindle features an A2-6 nose with 53mm bore and metric 1:20 taper.

The CAK36/40 series is equipped with a four-position electric tool post for quick indexing and rigid clamping of turning tools. X-axis stroke is 220mm, and Z-axis stroke is 650mm (maximum distance between centers). Rapid traverse rates are 6/12 m/min. A programmable tailstock with MT4 taper and 60mm diameter sleeve (140mm stroke) ensures stable support for longer workpieces. Precision ground ball screws and hardened guideways guarantee high accuracy and repeatability.
