QUALITY ENGINEERING
Confidence through
clear acceptance.
Understand the documented manufacturing and inspection process, then agree the checks for your own machine.
FROM THE TECHNICAL AGREEMENTS
Inspection is a process.
Make it measurable.
The supplied V-series machining-centre agreements describe assembly, testing and acceptance requirements. Use them to build a clear inspection plan for the configuration you order.
The V-855, V-1160, V-1270, V-1370 and V-1580 reference agreements include manufacturing and inspection provisions. Requirements for other machine families must be confirmed separately.
A 48-hour functional test
The reference agreements specify a 48-hour full-function test after assembly, followed by geometric accuracy, machining accuracy and functional inspection.
Request the actual results for the supplied machine at acceptance. A published test requirement is different from a completed inspection record for an individual serial number.
MANUFACTURING & MEASUREMENT
What the reference documents describe.
Structural preparation
The machining-centre agreements describe FC300 cast-iron structural components, ribbed designs and natural and artificial ageing. The documented route includes a rest period of more than one week after rough machining before finishing.
Assembly and function
Purchased components are checked before assembly. The documented inspection sequence covers machine functions as well as geometric and machining accuracy. Review the spindle, lubrication, cooling and control configuration against the order.
A controlled inspection environment
The reference inspection conditions specify 15–25°C, at least 12 hours for machine temperature stabilisation and a temperature gradient no greater than 0.5°C per hour. Measurement instruments also need temperature stabilisation, with direct sunlight, heat and draughts controlled.
Your acceptance checklist.
Before production
Record model, controller, spindle, tooling, accessories and any agreed options. Attach the component drawing, critical tolerances, inspection method and sample requirements.
At factory pre-acceptance
Check the supplied configuration and documentation. Review the agreed functional and accuracy results, then inspect the sample against the agreed drawing and measurement method.
After installation
Confirm levelling, utilities, commissioning and training. Complete final acceptance against the technical agreement and retain the machine serial number, results and service documents.
PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Quality and acceptance FAQ
Does the 48-hour test apply to every machine on this website?
The requirement comes from the supplied V-series machining-centre reference agreements. Confirm the inspection programme for your specific machine and order; it is not a claim that an individual unit has already passed.
Is a current ISO certificate available on this page?
The supplied ISO certificate is an archive copy with a stated end date of 30 July 2026. Request the current certificate and scope before procurement. The website does not represent the archived copy as current certification.
Can I use my own part for acceptance?
Discuss a representative drawing, blank material, tooling and inspection method with the team. Any sample machining, timing target and acceptance limit should be agreed before production.
